We loved our stay at Falling Water. The apartment is beautifully located on the South West Coast Path with amazing views of Woody Bay our into the Bristol Channel from both the living room and the main bedroom. Lee Bay, which has a swimmable beach, is about a 40 minute walk away, and Hunter’s Inn is an hour in the other direction. The apartment is beautifully appointed with all amenities you could ever need. We found the Wi-Fi really reliable. The master bedroom has amazing views out over the sea and an extremely soft and comfortable bed. The living room is very comfortable and spacious. We had a little challenge getting the hot water to work but Paul was extremely helpful and sorted it out for us very quickly and effectively. All in all, a wonderful stay, it is difficult to fault this place! We will definitely return! Thank you!

We had an excellent stay at Falling water in Woody bay. The apartment has stunning views, and is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The living area was surprisingly spacious. It’s ideal for walkers. No shops nearby, which suited us perfectly. I would highly recommend a stay here

Woody bay is a tranquil and picturesque setting. If one wants a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle, just to enjoy peace and beautiful vistas, then this is the place to be.
Lovely house with views from all front windows. It’s a bit of a tricky drive to get here via sir Robert’s path. But the house is a good base to explore North Devon.
Lynton is a lovely quaint town with some decent eating options. Would definitely recommend the Coastal walk starting at Valley of Rocks. Would love to come back and stay in Woody bay again

We stayed at Falling Waters, Woody Bay.
Lovely apartment, extremely well equipped and furnished to a high standard.
The view from the sitting room and bedroom is amazing, a panoramic view of Woody Bay, with a huge expanse of sea and sky.
Very quiet and peaceful, just the sound of tinkling water from the tiny waterfall by the terrace and the distant sound of the sea.

If you like remote, quiet, beautiful views and a really nicely appointed place to stay this is perfect. Very tastefully decorated and although the kitchen was quite boutique sized, it had everything you could possibly need and plenty of mugs, crockery and cutlery and cooking equipment which I always appreciate.

WOODY BAY FALLING WATER | 2 Bedrooms | Stunning Ocean Views | Heart of Exmoor
The property is a delight, set in apartments in what used to be the Woody Bay Hotel. Full of mod cons, lovely kitchen and incredible views over Woody Bay. We swum in the bay every low tide in the Victorian swimming pool and enjoyed reading Harriet Bridle's history book on the bay Great little stay, but do beware anyone like me with vertigo - this is a steep cove with small roads and sheer drops! But once you get over that - a real oasis of calm and history.

We loved our week away here. The apartment is set just off Sir Roberts Path, a quiet single track road that leads down to the Lee Bay Abbey and beach.
There was dedicated off-road parking for the apartment with a couple of additional spaces in case a visitor comes or you have two cars.
The path down to the Woody Bay beach is pleasant walk on a non-motor traffic path and the beach at Lee Bay is a short drive away.
The beds were comfortable as were the sofas, in case you want to chill inside in case the weather isn't' great.
The kitchen is small but well laid out so that you can have two people working in there without feeling like you were tripping over each other.
The patio outside was a lovely place to have a BBQ or watch the day turn into night looking over the bay.

“loved the decor, comfy bed and pillows. higher than normal toilet was perfect for my knee injury. Fluffy towels, responsive heating, well equipped kitchen. Views were amazing too.

Woody bay falling water was a peaceful and idyllic place to stay.
Surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the sea from the front windows.
Lovely coastal walks within easy reach and just a 10 minute drive to the lovely Lynton and Lynmouth.
The apartment was well equipped and the beds were super cosy.!!
Two ensuite bathrooms were an added bonus.
Just a half hour drive to Woolacombe and it's beautiful beach and just so much to do and explore.
We hope to do a return visit one day...

A lovely apartment in a remote setting. There was everything that we needed, all quite new and modern. Although it slept four, it was perfect for two with a bathroom and 'wardrobe' each! Some lovely local walks nearby and a good choice of pubs for evening meals, although at the moment we found several fully booked , so booked our choices a few days in advance. The best pub we found was in Parracombe, The Fox and Goose where the menu was extensive and the food fabulous. A lovely week away in an area we didn't really know but would certainly return to.

We just got back from an excellent week in this apartment. It has been recently renovated and it was spotless when we arrived. The view from the living room is spectacular - you can see across the Bristol channel to Wales. Bring binoculars! The house is nestled in the woods that slope down the the sea, and walking in the area is like walking in a rainforest. So green and lush. There was no noise from adjacent properties. The flats upstairs are residential, and I'm not sure there was anyone there. The hotel next door looks like it is also being renovated, but there was no noise. The road out front is very quiet. We didn't see more than about 4 cars go past in an hour, and they go past very quietly. The road to the property is narrow, but not as scary as I had imagined. Its perfectly drivable. Broadband is via 4G, but it worked pretty well for us - watching the occasional tv show on catch-up.

Beautiful location right on the coast path (despite the narrow twisting road to get there). Light and bright space with all the amenities you could ask for and a well equipped kitchen. Views from the living room and double bedroom are incredible and the space is wonderfully decorated throughout. Perfect come rain or shine, would definitely return!

“Beautiful place to stay in a lovely quiet setting. Sea views from bed in the morning was a real treat. The flat is comfortable, warm and a restful place to be. Lovely additional touches which made our stay feel special and a bottle of red waiting for us when we arrived. Having a dishwasher was brilliant so it’s worth bringing some tablets to make the most of it.”
