Our stay at Tideaway Cottage in Instow was amazing! The property was literally beside the beach with a 60 second walk. The cottage was well equipped, very tidy and had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. We know Instow very well, and it was great not to worry about parking, and our little place was so close when we needed to come home to rest after a long day out on the beach or visiting local places. Choice made it very easy for us to book, and communication was very good, too. Highly recommended and we will be back soon :-)

Tideway is a great two-bedroom house very conveniently situated in the lovely village of Instow. The house is well appointed and I would guess recently updated as everything is clean and fresh. One double bedroom and a room with a single and bunk beds were all very well appointed, there’s even a sea ‘glimpse’ if you look for it! There’s no dishwasher but we didn’t find that an issue. The communication from the agents was very good. Tideaway’s location is ideal for the lovely sandy beach and exciting dunes (three minute walk) and it is also very close to three of the very acceptable pubs and restaurants of Instow. There is off street parking which was perfectly fine. The village itself is really the secret of North Devon, excellent located for trips out, is wonderfully situated on the Torridge estuary and has the famous cycling and walking Tarka Trial passing through. We have stayed in a number of properties in Instow over the years, we will certainly plan to return to Tideaway.

Location was brilliant - Attention to details was very much appreciated and anticipating our needs. Chocolates on the soft towels, treats for the dog + Poo bags in case guests forget. Washing machine with a couple of liquid pods, Kids so milk in the fridge. I packed my own knives, cling film, foil, salt etc knowing rental places are usually pretty poor on these items but not at Instow Tideway, everything was of good quality and useful. The location was incredible, one minute from the beach, pubs and restaurants but yet quiet in a hide away little close. Couldn't fault any of it.
