The cottage was as advertised, very clean with everything needed for a staycation. The location is a few minutes walk from Croyde Beach and local restaurants/ shops. As an extra added treat we were visited daily by the local cat!! We would both definitely stay again!

Wonky Cottage was beautifull, very well maintained with everything you could possibly need in a home. Close the the beach and close to the village, it was a perfect location, very happy with it

Great holiday cottage for checking out Croyde and the surrounding area. We stayed for a week, family of 4 with 2 kids. Location is excellent, nestled away on the primary road between the main beach and the village centre, just 10mins max walking either way gets you to the beach or shops. We had the sole use of the garden area which is great, it's very peaceful and gets the sun, lovely for relaxing at the end of the day. There's a hose for washing down your beach stuff after a day on the surf which is very useful for keeping that sand out of the cottage. Car parking is off road at the front of the property, park the car and leave it there. The cottage has everything you would expect and more. Absolutely nothing negative to report and we would certainly stay again. Check out the walk to Baggy Point when you fancy a change. It's a great walk, just an hour each way, with interesting things along the way. We loved exploring the added walk down to the rock pools (on the way to Baggy Point), on a calm day

We've had the pleasure of booking with Choice Cottages multiple times for our Croyde getaways, and they've always been a joy to work with!
The overall impression we've had is absolutely charming, and it's safe to say that the holiday cottage perfectly matched the description on their website.
The cleanliness of the cottage exceeded our wildest dreams, and the facilities provided were top-notch. The cottage itself was in impeccable condition, almost feeling brand new.

Public Review: Wonky Cottage was a fantastic place, well laid out and kitted with everything we could need. The garden was secluded and beautiful - the space we lived in was much bigger and better than the pictures suggested. The location was ideal, being close to the beach and offering plenty of activities nearby. It was a truly delightful stay, and I highly recommend it.
Private Note from Chris: Massive thanks for our stay - we really enjoyed it, and the cottage is extremely well kitted out. Faith was very welcoming. Slight warning to those with a big van, we managed to slit our tire coming up.

The property is well located between the beach and the village, both about 5 - 10 mins walk away. Having somewhere to park was very helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped and organised and the whole property was very clean. The owner lives next door and was easily accessible if wanted. The garden was a great extra. I would happily return and recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at Wonky Cottage, the location was ideal for surfing on Croyde beach - only a few minutes walk! The accommodation was well presented and clean, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonky Cottage has everything you could possibly need - and more. Such a comfortable stay in a pretty cottage with small garden. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the restaurants. Would definitely return to this lovely property in Croyde.

Wonky Cottage is a lovely place to stay for access to the beach, coastal path and visiting local places. Paul was helpful and caring and the cottage is very well equipped. It is a peaceful place to stay and the outlook to the garden at the back is great. It is great for 2 people but could be a bit pushed for 4. Our stay was in mid June so it was relatively quiet!

Very comfortable detached one bedroom cottage

I stayed for a week in mid October with my wife and one year old son. The cottage was renovated to its current high standard in June 2016. It sits behind the Moorsands B&B up a small driveway. The quality of the finish is excellent, especially the upstairs kitchen. The finish of the cottage is very modern but still characterful with wooden steps here and there. The kitchen is well appointed, even featuring a tumble dryer. The lounge has a new smart tv, freesat hd, dvd player and patio doors to let in lots of light. the sofa is actually a sofa bed so the lounge can act as a second bedroom if required. Bathroom is small but features a bath and shower. The only negative was that the cottage could have been more thoroughly cleaned, lots of dust and dirt under the units (which we found when retrieving child's toys) and cobwebs in the corners of the rooms. All in all a lovely little cottage and we shall certainly consider returning next year.

Simply Stunning
The booking experience was really straightforward, and when I emailed due to not receiving a confirmation email I got a response within 2 hours which was really helpful.
The cottage was lovely. The appliances provided were more than we needed. The lady came to greet us when we arrived, and bought us some milk which was a lovely gesture. The standard of the cottage was exceptional, and it really made our stay. The selection of board games and DVD's was also a great added touch. The garden was also lovely to overlook during the evenings. The cottage is also in a great location, inbetween the beach and village which was ideal.
The property manager was really kind and helpful. She greeted us on arrival and directed us where to park. She also let us leave the car at the cottage during the check-out day which was also really helpful.

Loved it! Quiet, 5 mins from both beach & village, friendly & accommodating owners who were there if needed. We felt private & autonomous despite overlooking their back garden. They kindly allowed us to take our older dog for a small surcharge. Recommended!
