We had a really lovely stay at Victoria Cottage. The cottage is full of character, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable break. The kitchen was particularly well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were excellent. We loved how peaceful it felt, yet it was still just a short walk to the beach, pubs and village shops. The private courtyard was a great little sun trap in the evenings. A cosy, welcoming cottage in a fantastic location. We would happily stay again.

Victoria Cottage couldn’t be better placed. We loved being right in the heart of Croyde, with everything just a short walk away, from the beach to the pubs, cafes and surf shops. The cottage itself was peaceful and comfortable, so it felt like a real retreat after busy days out. It was great not needing the car once we arrived. A brilliant base for enjoying the village and coastline, and somewhere we would definitely return to.

4 adult members of our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Victoria Cottage, which is a light and spacious house, we were all very comfortable. It was great to be right in the heart of the village with all it's amenities (favourite place to eat was the Blue Groove) And within easy walking distance of Croyde Beach too. Thanks for everything, we hope to be back soon.

Victoria cottage nestles in a quiet location. Traditional and pretty, it makes up a picturesque group of cottages which help to give the village its charm.
The interior is spotlessly clean and sympathetically decorated with a spacious living room and roomy kitchen.
Bedrooms are comfortable and there are two separate bathrooms, downstairs and upstairs, with excellent modern showers.
The little patio garden has good privacy and is a very nice place to sit out when the weather's fine.
It is a short walk to Croyde's pubs and cafe bars and a twenty minutes and a twenty minute walk to Downend car park with its Sunset Bar and cafe serving Sri Lankan curries amongst other dishes on weekend evenings - not to be missed!
It is always a pleasure to return home after a good day to Victoria cottage , and we certainly hope to stay again.

Our overall impression of the holiday cottage was very nice indeed. It absolutely matched the description on the website, and we found it to be very clean. The facilities offered were very good, and the condition of the cottage was almost new.
We would definitely stay at this holiday cottage again and found it to be very much value for money. As previous guests, it was an easy decision to re-book. Although we didn't need to contact the Property Manager during our stay, the overall service provided was above and beyond.

We had an awesome time at Croyde Victoria Cottage! It was exactly like the pics on the website, super cute and cosy.
The place was really clean, which made us feel comfy right away. The facilities were on point, and everything looked almost new.
Didn't talk much to the property manager, but they were quick to help when we needed something. The overall service was good.
For the price, it was totally worth it. I might stay here again for sure!

Fabulous cosy cottage in quiet location but near to the pub/shops and the beach - perfect! Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for a short stay, and lovely relaxing lounge/dining area. Comfortable beds and good shower as well. Would stay here again.

A lovely cottage retaining lots of charm. Great kitchen, plenty of utensils and modern appliances. Nice decoration throughout in muted creams, grey and white. The under floor heating was a nice treat!

We had a great family break staying at Victoria cottage in Croyde.
Choice cottages left some wonderful seasonal welcome gifts for us which was a lovely touch.
The cottage was extremely well looked after, comfortable, clean and very cosy.
The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever come across in a holiday cottage, so we had some great family meals during our stay.
The location of the cottage is perfect, close to pubs, restaurants, the beach and coastal walks.
And the information provided by Choice cottages and their communication was excellent! We had a great time, thank you!

We have two daughters 9 & 12. This place was a perfect base for us to explore the area. The property was very modern, immaculate, well equipped with lovely decor. It also had ample space for surf boards and related gear. If we come back to Croyde We will definitely stay here.

A short visit - booked last minute due to a change of plans. We’ve had a great time. The cottage is beautiful and its location really fabulous. We’ve surfed everyday - walking the short distance to the Croyde beach. We’ve done some great coastal path walks too. Supper at Kings Head in Georgeham is to be recommended. Many thanks.

We have enjoyed our summer holiday in Croyde. A beautiful village, fabulous beach and lovely cottage. The Thatch was great for food. The Hub served delicious lunchtime snacks and we loved Blue Groove for food, drinks and atmosphere. Hartland Quay had magnificent views and wild, powerful, crashing waves. Croyde has to be our favourite place to stay in North Devon. I’m sure that we will be back.

Beautiful area with lots to do. My favourite local treasure is the fresh farm milk just down the lane named “Milk’s Up”. Many flavoured syrups to choose from and make flavoured milkshakes. The wood fired pizza in the Croyde are also a must! Lovely location.

We’ve had a really lovely week! The cottage is so warm and cozy, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Such a quaint little cottage but with all mod cons - perfect! We usually stay in Woolacombe but thought we’d try Croyde for a change. So glad we did; lovely beach, great walks & local pubs all on our doorstep. We will definitely stay in Croyde again and hopefully be lucky enough to be able to stay at Victoria cottage!

We first stayed in the Victoria Cottage in January 2017 and it has been lovely to come back and stay again and see all the renovation work that has been done. It is truly a beautiful cottage!

This is the most comfortable house I have stayed in. Very very clean and well equipped. Beautiful location in the village. Especially as it is next door to the best tea shop in the village. Thank you for letting is stay there and would happily go again as it was so nice!

Had a great time at Victoria cottage. A lovely home to share - Thank you. Toured around and enjoyed the beaches too, Croyde & Saunton Sands amazing to be on, just a little windy at times. Lots of good food to enjoy locally including the Sri Lankan on a Sat eve. Mays cottage - awesome cream tea.Would happily come again as it was so enjoyable here & comfy in the cottage after a day of sea air. Thank you again and for the welcome pack :)

We’ve had a wonderful time at Victoria Cottage. Enjoyed lots of walking along the coastal path. We had some beautiful sunny days on Croyde beach. Lovely food at The Flame Factory in Appledore. The property is in an ideal location and The Old Cream Shop sells FANTASTIC ice-cream. We’ve experienced lovely sunsets at Croyde Bay and Baggy Point.

The most perfect half term holiday in Victoria cottage. Despite some of the worst storm on record we had an amazing time.We took day trips everyday - we loved the Milky Way and the Big sheep. The beach is stunning even in the wind and the rain. We topped the days off with two hot chocolates, an ice cold wine and a perfect pint of Tribute at ‘the Thatch’ before lighting the fire and settling down for the evening.
Teddy (aged four) says the beds are very comfy, he loves it here and wants to stay forever. Carlsberg don’t do… weeks away, but if they did…

Thank you for a great week at your lovely cottage. We really enjoy the beach and getting to grips with body boarding. While in the evenings and on the wet days the cottages location made very easy to enjoy the best croyde and beyond.

Thanks for the warm welcome! We spent a lovely family holiday at Victoria cottage. There we had a bit of a flood with regard to the weather. The cottage was very well equipped and cosy.

Arrived at 8 PM Monday evening after collecting my son from hospital at 1 PM from hospital, Following a few nice day after having had his appendix out–this was a much welcomed and needed break and the minute we arrived we all felt instantly better. The cottage is absolutely amazing, the decor and facilities are above and beyond what we expected. We had the most enjoyable stay, just wish it could have been longer and will certainly be back in future many thanks
