Tucked away in the heart of Croyde, Secret Garden is a unique seaside retreat that sleeps up to 6 guests. This high-spec, beautifully presented 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers a rare combination of privacy, charm, and direct beach access via a picturesque garden path. Cross the stream by a small bridge and arrive at Croyde Beach in just 5 minutes, or stroll 3 minutes the other way to reach the village centre with its friendly pubs, cafes, and surf shops.
The lush private garden features a waterfall, stream, and spacious lawn ideal for games or sunbathing. Whether you're dining outdoors with the charcoal BBQ, relaxing on sun loungers, or enjoying family games, Secret Garden is a peaceful haven where beach and village life meet.
Inside, modern amenities blend with thoughtful design. There’s a king-size bedroom, twin bedroom, and a king-size sofa bed in the lounge, making it ideal for families or couples. Enjoy ultra-comfy beds, powerful thermostatic “drench” showers, heated towel rails, Smart TVs in every room, and fast WiFi. Parking is private and gated with space for 3+ cars and an EV charger.
The owners live in the adjoining property and are happy to assist if needed, while ensuring your privacy is respected at all times.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The stylish, open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, hob, extractor, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster, kettle, Delonghi coffee grinder/maker (with beans provided), cafetiere, fridge, and freezer. A utility room off the kitchen offers extra convenience. The dining table seats 6 comfortably.
LIVING AREA
The welcoming lounge features large patio doors leading to the garden, flooding the room with natural light. Relax on the spacious sofa or enjoy entertainment via the internet-enabled flatscreen TV, Bluetooth speaker, books, and board games.
BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1: King-size bed, Smart TV, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers, blackout blinds.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, Smart TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers, blackout blinds.
Additional sleeping: King-size sofa bed in the lounge (linen available - see Add to Basket).
BATHROOMS
Two modern shower rooms each feature thermostatic “drench” showers, heated towel radiators, WC, hand basin, and illuminated mirrors. Bath towels are included.
OUTDOORS
A large enclosed field-style garden includes a stream, a bridge to a private beach path, sun loungers, a charcoal BBQ, picnic bench, washing line, and space for football, cricket, or tennis. Parking for 3+ cars is available in a gated drive, and EV charging is offered (add-on). A beach trolley and beach games are provided.
Please note: We kindly ask that dogs are not left unattended in the property, to help keep them safe and comfortable during your stay.
