We visit Croyde every year, and have booked this house for the past 4 years. Hallgrein is absolutely perfect for our needs. Location is great! We have relatively small children and a dog, this house helps us relax because it’s not too perfect and has character. We love the new kitchen & cosy beds.

Loved our stay and the cottage was terrific for our group of 8. Great to have 2 living rooms and we certainly made the most of the kitchen… particularly appreciated some extra goodies which were very thoughtful :-) Overall a great stay and an enjoyable location for a multi-generational family holiday… dogs too!

Hallgrein was a great location for a stay with friends in Croyde. It’s easily accessible to the village and a short 10-15 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen had everything needed although would be good to have the basics such as oil for cooking. The bedroom set up was perfect for us and we had a lovely time.

This house is bigger than it seems and the large kids' bedroom is especially welcome as are the two sitting rooms! It is really close to the shops and pubs, and there is an easy walk to the beach. As a family of 10 we had a great time.

This is a fantastic cottage, right in the centre of Croyde next to all the amenities and a short drive to the beach for surf. A great kids playroom, very clean! And a great space inside, and garden for bbq’s etc. Both adults and children had a great time. Will definitely be staying again.

Very pleased with the variety and richness of the cottage for it decor, style and contents including the board games, books, DVDs and Kids toys. The Wifi connection was excellent - really amazed by the speed and signla strength throughout the cottage and television in almost every room.
