SEA-FACING SERENITY ON MOUILLE POINT'S PLATINUM MILE
Wake to the sound of the Atlantic and uninterrupted ocean views that stretch as far as the eye can see.
This stylish, newly renovated two-bedroom apartment sits on Mouille Point's coveted Platinum Mile — one of Cape Town's most sought-after seafront addresses. From the moment you step inside, floor-to-ceiling windows draw the ocean straight into the heart of the home, filling the living space and main bedroom with light, blue horizons and the gentle rhythm of the waves — and if you're lucky, you may spot dolphins passing by or a whale breaching on the horizon. The Atlantic here is wonderfully alive.
It's the kind of place where mornings begin slowly with coffee and a sea breeze, and evenings end watching the sun melt into the water. Peaceful, private and beautifully considered throughout — this is coastal living at its most effortless.
THE SPACE
Thoughtfully redesigned with a calm, contemporary palette, the open-plan living and dining area flows into a sleek modern kitchen finished with a gas hob, generous counter space and everything you need to cook and gather. Lush greenery, natural textures and that ever-present ocean backdrop give the whole apartment a relaxed, grounded feel.
Sleeping arrangements:
Bedroom 1 — Queen-size bed with those same breathtaking sea views to wake up to.
Bedroom 2 — Two comfortable single beds, ideal for children, friends or a flexible group.
Bathrooms — One full bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, plus a separate guest toilet (1.5 bathrooms in total).
COMFORT AND PEACE OF MIND
Wi-Fi with UPS backup, so you stay connected even during load shedding. A gas stove for uninterrupted cooking. Lift and stair access to the apartment. A secure garage suitable for a normal, city-sized car, plus ample additional parking around the building via Beach, Fritz Sonnenburg and In Bay Road.
Mouille Point is one of Cape Town's safest and most welcoming suburbs, and we simply ask guests to keep any valuables out of sight in parked vehicles as a sensible precaution.
WHERE THE OCEAN COMES TO LIFE
One of the true joys of this spot is that the sea is never still — and neither is the wildlife. From the living room, the bedroom or a stroll along the Promenade opposite, you're perfectly placed to watch the Atlantic put on a show.
Whales — During the winter and spring months (roughly June to November), Southern Right and humpback whales pass along the coast on their annual migration, often breaching and spouting within view of the shore.
Dolphins — Pods of dolphins are a common sight year-round, frequently seen cruising and playing just off the rocks.
Cape fur seals — Look out for these curious locals bobbing in the swell and basking near the water's edge.
Seabirds — Cormorants, kelp gulls, terns and the striking African black oystercatcher all patrol this stretch of coastline, adding to the ever-changing seascape.
Keep a pair of binoculars handy — you never quite know what the ocean will bring, and there's something wonderful about spotting a whale spout while you're still in your dressing gown with a morning coffee in hand.
PERFECTLY PLACED
You're just across the road from the famous Sea Point Promenade — Cape Town's iconic seafront walkway — and everything worth exploring is within a comfortable stroll: Green Point Golf Course and Green Point Park, Cape Town Stadium (now the home of Cape Town Rugby), the V&A Waterfront with its restaurants, shopping and harbour buzz, the Oranjezicht Farm Market for weekend produce and local flavour, and a wonderful choice of neighbourhood bars and restaurants right on your doorstep.
HERE FOR A MATCH OR A CONCERT?
You couldn't be better placed. With Cape Town Stadium less than a five-minute walk away, you can soak up the atmosphere of a live game or concert and simply wander home afterwards. And once you're back inside, the world falls quiet again — just you, the calm and the sound of the ocean.
A tranquil sea-facing retreat where the beach, the city and the stadium all sit right on your doorstep — yet the moment you close the door, it's just you and the Atlantic.
