Entertainment facilities are available for all ages.

Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.

A quiet, beautiful and well equipped house for a lovely week exploring North Devon! The house is set back off the road and is a fantastic location to explore Braunton by foot and join the Tarka Trail. Close to Saunton Sands and Croyde Beach! House is very well equipped and safe for little ones with a great patio area and garden! Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen is very modern and pristine! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- Thank you!

Elizabeth Sutherland left a new review Hi info, Elizabeth Sutherland just left a new 5-star review of www.choice-cottages.co.uk: Comfortable and cosy cottage in a quiet location right in the middle of Braunton. Cottage exactly as described. Well equiped kitchen, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds. Driveway is quite narrow, but we managed to get in OK. Property manager was very responsive. Would definitely recommend

A lovely cottage with everything you need. Great outdoor space with somewhere to put your bikes. Loved watching the birds. Log fire very welcome in February. Welcome basket, fridge and larder essentials was great. We have a Tiguan and plenty of room to drive to the property and park. Lovely to have Braunton on your doorstep, great bus links and right on the Tarka Trail.

Great cottage in the heart of the town. Down a quiet drive away from any noise. Although the drive was tight we managed to reverse our Audi Q5 in.

Five Stars "I recently had the pleasure of staying at Braunton Orchard Cottage, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The cottage not only matched but exceeded my expectations. It was impeccably clean, and the facilities provided were outstanding. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making this place comfortable and convenient for guests. The condition of the cottage was good, and I had no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation, and I found it to be excellent value for money. One of the standout features of this hidden gem is its peaceful location, just a stone's throw away from the bustling high street. It truly offers the best of both worlds. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The powerful shower was a real treat after a long day exploring. The garden was a delightful oasis, especially in the sunshine. Although parking was a bit tricky, I managed just fine with my Peugeot 2008. The cottage also served as an excellent base for exploring the Tarka Trail and the South West Coastal Path. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was lovely and added a personal touch to the experience. All in all, I highly recommend Braunton Orchard Cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful yet convenient getaway. It's a true hidden haven of peace, and I can't speak highly enough of it."

Review for Orchard Cottage - An Idyllic Haven Orchard Cottage, was a hidden haven of peace just a minute's walk from the high street. It exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and overall condition. The owners have taken care of every detail – from the comfortable beds to the powerful shower. The garden was a delightful spot to bask in the sunshine, and despite a bit of tricky parking, it was manageable with a Peugeot 2008. The cottage served as a fantastic base for exploring the Tarka trail and the SW coastal path. Meeting the lovely owner was a pleasure, and their thoughtful touches, including a wonderful welcome pack, added to the charm of the stay. I had an outstanding booking experience with Choice Cottages. The team was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They handled my booking enquiry with extreme efficiency, which made the process hassle-free. I will definitely be using Choice Cottages again in the future. In conclusion, Orchard Cottage is a highly recommended gem that I would stay at again without a doubt. The value for money was exceptional, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We found Orchard Cottage on Easter Saturday, booked and arrived on Easter Sunday! What a find, this quiet cottage is tucked away behind some shops on the main road into Braunton. Don't be alarmed when you arrive and see the narrow driveway next to the Chinese takeaway! I was apprehensive but then I saw the cottage and I was so pleased! The driveway is quite a squeeze so I recommend you check before attempting it. We managed it in my husband's Mazda 6 to give you an idea of car size. He's a good driver but I helped to spot him in! The cottage itself is very nicely decorated, bright, cheerful and very clean. We had a lovely welcome basket of goodies on arrival which was a lovely touch. The cottage has a quiet, fairly private garden which must be fabulous on warm summer evenings (sadly we were a bit early in the year for this!) Our beds were comfy, the kitchen was very functional, lovely rainfall shower, and a cosy room for the kids with 2 single beds. There was a cot and highchair in the cottage for those with younger children. Also a washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, clothes airer, fridge freezer etc. Also some basics in the cupboards. The WiFi worked perfectly which was important as both myself and my husband had to do some work whilst there. The cottage has a lovely log burner which we didn't use as we were nice a snug. The kids loved the stash of board games. I absolutely loved the patio doors opening out onto the garden and the peaceful feel of the cottage. It felt like a little haven in the lovely town of Braunton with all the shops, & restaurants we needed in walking distance. Saunton Sands is an easy 10 min drive and it's about 20 mins to our favourite, Croyde. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a perfect break in our beloved north Devon.

Tranquil and beautiful home. Totally clean and well maintained. Loved it. Car parking is so safe and a lot of fun entering and leaving. Car proximity sensors work well. Enjoy the experience. Great location, close to all you need. “Thank you. The visit was for my Mums funeral and such a sad occasion. Our Daughter and Granddaughter were with us from New York. Orchard Cottage provided us with a tranquil and peaceful base during such tragic days. Clean, quiet and perfect. Thank you.”

Enjoyed a great stay in Devon, good central location, whilst still very private and we had a great time. Very tidy and clean, good standard and well equipped. wanted to test the logburner but weather was too hot. Only issue was dishwasher out of order, repaired but failed again. With covid, the local restaurants and take aways was very busy so used the well equipped kitchen more. All convenience shops are near. Great choice of beaches nearby as well as walking / cycling options. Parking access is narrow, but was able to carefully park our SUV. Would book again. Jarle’s private feedback for you: “thanks for a great stay in Devon, good location and we had a great time. Due to busy restaurants and take aways we needed to use kitchen more. appreciate the warning of small car access only, but was able to park our SUV nicely. would book again”

Great cottage conveniently located close to all amenities in Braunton and a short drive from Saunton sands. It's tucked away so it's very quiet despite being close to Braunton centre. In terms of car access we managed with a Focus. Try the sweet shop and pottery painting just around the corner on a rain day.

Immaculate accommodation that has been renovated to a high standard. The cottage is located centrally in Braunton on The Exeter Road but tucked away from any traffic noise. Close to all amenities within a couple of minutes walk. Also centrally placed to travel to Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde. A perfect family retreat. “The accommodation was immaculate. It had all the facilities that we needed. The location was very central and convenient and we thought the accommodation was good value.”

A hidden gem of a cottage. Fantastic inside and out. We even managed to reverse our large 4x4 down the narrow drive, which was described as only suitable for a small car. Also lots of free parking available nearby if you don't feel confident getting down the drive.
