SUNNYSIDE APARTMENT offers two bedrooms, accommodating up to five people, complete with WiFi access and the convenience of parking for one car – a valuable feature in Woolacombe. As you step into the spacious hallway, it leads into a bright and airy open-plan living area and kitchen with a dining table seating four, all designed to maximise the stunning view framed by the large window. The room features a sofa, window seat, and a high chair is thoughtfully provided for added convenience. Home entertainment options include a TV, books, and games.

The contemporary kitchen boasts sleek white units and is fully equipped with all the appliances you need for a comfortable stay, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster. An excellent selection of pots, pans, utensils, crockery, and cutlery, including items for children, ensures that your culinary needs are well catered for.

The bedrooms are both comfortable and well-equipped, featuring a double bedroom and a second bedroom accommodating three individuals in a single bed and an adult-sized bunk bed. A travel cot is provided, making the apartment ideal for families with young children.

The large modern family bathroom is a stylish space, containing a bath, separate shower enclosure, WC, washbasin, and a chrome towel rail. Bath towels are included, allowing you to pack light and save on luggage space. WALK TO – Woolacombe is an ideal centre for an amazing range of Adventure Sports including Surfing, Paragliding, Kayaking, Coasteering and much more. Take a boat trip to Lundy Island,or a coastal Wildlife Cruise, enjoy a day out on a fishing boat or saddle up and go horse riding across the sand dunes and bridle ways. Woolacombe, extending to Putsborough, making a 3 mile sandy beach holds the 'England for Excellence Gold Award' for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. This stretch of golden sand has won both the blue flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. Enjoy family friendly pubs, serving good pub grub. Spoil yourself at one of the many seafood restaurants in and around Woolacombe and Mortehoe, or just have a takeaway, fish and chips or a delicious cream tea as well as browse the many surf and variety shops. Visitors of all ages will find plenty to do away from the beach. There's a friendly, laid-back atmosphere here which visitors are sure to enjoy. Woolacombe and Mortehoe are very dog friendly areas with plenty of walks your dog will enjoy.

CYCLE TO - National Cycle Network,Devon Coast Route 27. This is a wonderfully scenic circular route on the North Devon coast with a link that allows a start and finish in Ilfracombe. and takes in two superb traffic free sections, the National Trust coast route beside the sea at Woolacombe Sands and the former railway path from Ilfracombe to Willingcott Cross. The remainder is along attractive minor roads through quiet villages and rolling Devon farmland.

DRIVE TO – explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Spend a quiet day on protected Hele Bay beach or enjoy a Devon cream tea at Lee Bay. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour, Mortehoe (mentioned in the Doomsday Book) and many more. Willingcott Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.

We had a brilliant stay at Sunnyside Road. The view from the main living space was amazing and the layout of the flat worked well for our family of 5. A great location for exploring North Devon. Even out of season, we loved visiting Hartland Quay, Westward Ho! and Clovelly. We hired winter wetsuits from Hunters in Woolacombe for three days which opened up loads of fun activities; surfing, coastering and swimming at Speke’s Mill. The flat was light, airy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again x

I had an amazing stay at the Woolacombe Sunnyside Apartment. It was simply stunning, matching the website description perfectly. The cleanliness was impressive, and the facilities offered were very good. While it was in good condition I would definitely stay here again; it's great value for money. Although I didn't interact with the Property Manager, my overall experience was excellent.

Our stay at Sunnyside Apartments was magical. Stunning, breathtaking view that you never tire of and a comfortable, clean apartment that is literally 5 mins walk to the beach. Everything was catered for in the apartment, they have thought of everything and the apartment was very clean. We are a a family of 5 and the rooms were really well thought out, the children’s beds were sturdy and they loved the furnishings. We highly recommend this apartment, the photos really don’t do the view justice and Choice Cottages were incredibly helpful and friendly. We had the best time, thank you! We just wanted to say thanks for making our holiday so enjoyable. We loved our stay and the children have said it was the best yet! Thank you.

A last minute short break at Sunnyside Apartments in Woolacombe, was great. Place was very clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable, even the kids slept in late, bonus!

Amazing views, clean, bright and open apartment. Walk up the hill is very steep especially if you have bad knee/back etc but take breaks and it’s ok. If you want these amazing views then it’s worth it. Had a problem before we left to come to Woolacombe, however communication and help from Airbnb and direct with Choice Cottages (the host) was absolutely outstanding 100%. Could not do enough to help and my issue was resolved. Recommend and would come again. Thank you.

After negotiating the car through the alley, we were nicely secluded in our little paradise. (I would stress my XC70 was a very tight fit, so would recommend ok if you follow their recommendation.) A simple code to release the key and we were in. The whole house was super clean, fresh and well decorated. The welclme pack was a fantastic addition and proved a real treat. The property is so well placed in the village for amenities, with a great Fish and Chip shop at 'Squires' and highly recommended alternative cuisine at 'Hand Loose' too. Braunton is well placed for days out to all the local towns and villages too. We spent some scorching days at Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe, but also more laid back days out in Barnstaple, Bideford and Ilfracombe. Highly recommended property especially for a family. Don't forget to take a bus over to Croyde for an early evening drink and a great meal at the Thatch, it's a treat. Date of arrival - 4 July 2022

A great North Devon break away - comfortable beds and a great choice for two couples sharing a break away. The flat has fantastic views, is close to Lynton/Lynmouth / Exmoor, and is in a great area for walking and cycling.

The apartment does indeed have an amazing view. Perhaps the best in the Woolacombe! The place is set out perfectly for a family on vacation. Great colour coordination with the furnishings! It’s a very short walk to the shops/beach and also on a quiet road. I’d highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

“Woolacombe is a great little break for couples or families to get away from the stresses of current situations. The apartment is situated right on top of where you need to be, and the main window is by far the best panoramic that offers a place to gaze and lose yourself in thoughts.
