The bustling promenade, Capstone Hill, the picturesque harbour, beautiful beaches, and the stunning coastal path are just a short stroll away. Additionally, the town offers a vibrant restaurant scene and charming galleries. Tunnels Beach, a unique and popular wedding venue, is only 350 meters from the property. Excellent public transport links are nearby, and other breathtaking areas of North Devon, such as Exmoor National Park, Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton, are just a short drive away.

Living Areas

  • Ground Floor: The entrance hall is wide and welcoming, with plenty of space for hanging coats and storing shoes. A separate WC is conveniently located on this floor. The spacious TV and games room is also on the ground floor, offering a comfortable sofa, a large flat-screen TV, and an Xbox for entertainment. A variety of games, books, and children’s toys are also available to keep guests entertained. The room can double as a second sleeping area, with a double futon sofa bed (to be used only when requested and not for additional occupancy).

  • First Floor: The open-plan kitchen, living room, and dining area on the first floor offer a sociable and inviting space. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances (more details below), while the living room offers comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV with Apple TV, perfect for streaming your favorite shows and movies. The dining area features a large table that comfortably seats 6-8 people, making it an ideal spot for group meals. A small balcony off the living room offers limited sea views and provides a quiet spot for enjoying a morning coffee or evening cocktail.

  • Garage: The property also includes a garage, which offers ample storage space for beach gear, surfboards, bikes, golf clubs, or other sports equipment. The garage, however, is not large enough to park a car.

Kitchen

The well-appointed kitchen includes a full range of appliances and is perfect for preparing meals during your stay:

  • Appliances: Double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and a Tassimo coffee machine.
  • Essential Kitchenware: The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery. There’s also a selection of child-friendly crockery for families with young children.

In addition to the kitchen, there’s a spacious utility room on the ground floor. This room includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board—perfect for longer stays or keeping up with laundry during your holiday.

Bedrooms

  • Bedroom 1: The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed, a dressing table, and a Juliet balcony that provides stunning sea views. It’s a tranquil and relaxing space to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

  • Bedroom 2: A stylish double bedroom with contemporary décor. This room offers a cozy and restful environment.

For families with young children, a travel cot is available at the property. It fits in either the master bedroom or Bedroom 3 (guests are asked to provide their own linens). The bedrooms are all located on the top floor and are isolated from the stairs by a door, providing extra safety. Stairgates are available for added peace of mind, ensuring the living areas are safe for young children.

In addition to the regular bedrooms, the TV/games room offers a double futon sofa bed, which is available upon request and should not be used to increase occupancy.

Bathrooms

  • Bathroom 1: Features a bath with a rainfall shower overhead, a WC, and a washbasin. This bathroom is ideal for relaxing after a day of outdoor activities.

Jubilee Gardens, one of the closest parking areas, is conveniently located at the bottom of the road. For loading and unloading, there are spaces along the street to drop off luggage or assist less mobile visitors.

We had a wonderful time in Ilfracombe. The city and its surroundings are ideal for excursions and hikes. The accommodation was very nice.

Lisa A perfect week in Ilfracombe. House is located a stone’s throw from the sea front and a short walk to local amenities, bars, restaurants etc. It is just off a steep hill so probably not great for anyone with mobility issues. Parking may be an issue if you have a larger vehicle but there is a pay and display car park at the bottom of the hill a minute’s walk away and on street parking. House was spotless when we arrived and a lovely welcome pack awaited us. We had everything we needed for our stay and the house was lovely and bright and airy. Beds were comfy. We didn’t need to contact anyone while we were there but the office is just round the corner from the property and we had contact numbers should we have needed them. Would recommend. We had a great week in Ilfracombe and North Devon, I would highly recommend! Landmark View is ideally positioned in Ilfracombe to walk to the harbour, tunnels beach, the shops and pubs. The house was beautifully clean, spacious and comfortable. We cooked ours meals a few nights and the facilities were really good, bonus to have a dishwasher! Went out to some beautiful beaches surfing and swimming in the sea. Really liked the house and we will return.

Lovely week in Ilfracombe. The house is well set up and very spacious, and all the little extras included were so thoughtful. Ideal location for days at the beach, as it is a couple of minutes walk from Tunnels Beaches and 20 minutes drive to Woolacombe and Croyde. We got loads of use out of the boogie boards and kids wet suits provided!

We stayed with our grandchildren over the Easter holiday and had a lovely time. The house was well positioned really close to the beach and harbour. The house was modern and tidy, with everything you might need. We made the most of the board games in the house on the cooler days. The children loved the bunk beds and trying to spot a dolphin off Capstone from the top floor balcony! The house was lovely and warm to come back to after a nice a brisk April beach walk. Towels and linen provided was top quality and it was really clean with a nice welcome pack when we arrived.
