Review for The Stables in Georgeham - A Relaxing Getaway We had a wonderful stay at The Stables in Georgeham from August 14th to 18th, 2023. Overall, we rate our experience as a 5 out of 5. The location was ideal for us, offering easy access to the stunning Putsborough Beach. We also enjoyed the convenience of having two excellent pubs within walking distance, making it a breeze to have a great meal. Georgeham is a village we've visited before, and it always charms us with its unique atmosphere. Here's a more detailed breakdown of our experience: - **Check-in:** 5/5 The instructions were clear, and we had no trouble getting inside. We immediately felt at home and welcomed. - **Cleanliness:** 5/5 The cleanliness was impressive. Spotless furniture and linen, clutter-free spaces, a squeaky-clean bathroom, and a pristine kitchen made our stay all the more enjoyable. - **Accuracy:** 3/5 The property surprised us in a positive way. It's actually bigger than what the photos and description conveyed. A pleasant surprise indeed! - **Communication:** 3/5 The only downside of our stay was the lack of communication. Unfortunately, we had no communication during our stay. A bit more communication would have enhanced the experience. - **Location:** 5/5 The location of The Stables is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The proximity to great restaurants and walkable attractions made our time here even more enjoyable. In conclusion, The Stables in Georgeham is a great option for a relaxing getaway. With its superb location and lovely surroundings, it's an ideal spot to unwind and explore the area. We would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful retreat. Best regards, Ben

We have just returned from a long weekend staying at the Stables. The cottage is a fantastic winter retreat - cosy and warm with or without the use of the log burner. Very high standard of accommodation, impeccably clean and extremely well equipped. The village was peaceful but both pubs were vibrant and friendly as well as serving excellent food. And the little village shop was well stocked for the essentials we needed. The stunning Putsborough beach is a short walk from the cottage as is Croyde and Woolacombe. No need to use the car at all! I'll definitely be returning to the Stables in summer 2023.
