LIVING AREAS AND DINING ROOM
The grandeur of The WHITE HOUSE unveils itself as you step into the expansive L-shaped lounge, a space adorned with fresh white walls and hard-wearing neutral carpets. Dividing into two distinct seating areas, the lounge exudes an air of sophistication and comfort. The first seating area radiates warmth, featuring a wood burner flanked by two sumptuously comfortable sofas, a contemporary lounge chair, and a footstool. Entertainment aficionados will revel in the delights of Super Fast broadband, a full Sky package, a wall-mounted flat screen HD TV, and a DVD/CD/MP3 Player - all enjoyed against the backdrop of the crackling wood burner.

The second seating area, complete with a double sofa, caters to varied entertainment preferences. This space is enriched with a flat-screen TV, catering to those who wish to indulge in gaming while others partake in the main lounge area's offerings. Additional touches include box shelving, a pine mirror, and a compact DVD/CD/MP3 player, all thoughtfully arranged for your convenience.

Seamlessly transitioning from the lounge is the double-aspect dining room, a space adorned with solid oak flooring, a central ceiling light, and French doors that beckon you to the rear patio. The pièce de résistance is the large oblong table, surrounded by seating for eight, accompanied by a wooden chest housing table mats, 'where to go' leaflets, and exquisite John Lewis Crockery.

The latter, a generously sized room, features bedside tables and lamps, a 6-drawer chest of drawers, and a built-in cupboard currently housing a z-bed, spare duvets, and pillows. Lovely place: both smart and comfortable, with a feeling of a cared-for and very well-equipped family house. Quiet location but close to the village pubs & shops, and 15 mins (adult pace) walk to the gorgeous beach (and small stream perfect for dam and pond building); lovely wee garden, with a fun garden-house for kids; clean, spacious, especially the living areas and its' two screens. Loved the bits and pieces of beach equipment left in the utility room, including small-person boards and the welcome welcoming drink and milk. Perfect for our (multi-generational) family holiday

Great house in a great location, a lovely stay. Ideally situated for Croyde town which is just a couple of minutes walk away and for the beach. Walks with the dog behind the house up into the hills and plenty of space for a large family to spread out. Highly recommended.

Our second time at this house, well equipped and just feels like home, great location. I always take cleaning products with me, but they do have products so that was good. Garden looked lovely, and so did furniture. We borrowed windbreakers from utility room for beach which was handy. We first stayed September 2019 the garden wasn't as tidy but now looked lovely. Will definitely booked again at this property and with Choice Cottages We stayed last week 3rd May and weather turned out nice do had beach days. Great pubs and walks and obviously great beaches. The dogs all had a great time.as well All round lovely holiday

After the initial hiatus at the start of lockdown, Choice quickly responded to a request to move our booking and everything was dealt with quickly. The description regarding sleeping arrangements was spot on - this was important to us considering bad experiences elsewhere in the past! The communal space was exceptionally well proportioned and suitable for the number of bed spaces, should the weather require a day not leaving the house. The Property Manager cleaned the house to an exceptional standard. Instructions were left relating to covid and checking out.

This was a fab find for our family New Years get away. A family of 4 adults and 4 teenagers stayed here very comfortably. The house was how I had hoped: Cosy but spacious, very clean, quality kitchen wear, and comfortable beds! The location is excellent and within a short walk to the local pubs. The beach (Croyde Bay) was a bit further away than we had anticipated, about a 20min walk but there is a car park at the beach for any rainy days. It’s a beautiful house. We would most definitely return again!

Had a fantastic time at Croyde White House, everything you need even essentials i.e.-washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, bins, all cleaning materials you could ever need, I could go on. Great location just a few mins walk at the lane past Billybuds to a field to walk dogs & paths to beach (unfortunately no dogs allowed on Croyde beach). Lovely food & service at all the pubs/restaurants, lovely surf shops etc. would definitely go back, missing it already.

Great stay already booked for next New Year Stayed at Croyde White House over the new year period with another family. House was clean with enough kitchen equipment to use. There is a wood burner in the living room which we made use of on the cold days after a good walk. Rooms were good sizes and there was plenty of hot water available for showers. The main bathroom looked like it had been renovated recently. White House is a stones throw from walks in the area and the beach but more importantly Billy Budds and the Thatch! We have already booked for New Year.

“Fabulous House, Fantastic Location.” Reviewed on Trip Advisor April 16th, 2015 We have just returned from 4 nights in The Croyde White House. The house itself is beautiful and extremely well equipped. They really have thought of everything. The location is perfect with a 2 minute stroll into the village and a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.
