SEAGRASS is ideally situated in a peaceful elevated position, just a brief stroll from the heart of Croyde village. This single-level home features two bedrooms, accommodating up to 6 guests comfortably. With an enclosed front garden, ample parking, and stunning sea views, SEAGRASS provides a serene retreat for your coastal getaway. Access to Croyde beach is convenient via a footpath that leads directly to the shoreline. Additionally, guests will receive a Putsborough beach car park pass for the duration of their stay, providing added convenience and flexibility for exploring the nearby beaches, including Putsborough Beach and Saunton Sands. Woolacombe, a popular seaside resort, is also just a short drive away, offering even more opportunities for seaside adventures and relaxation.


LIVING AREAS
The spacious living area at SEAGRASS features an open-plan layout, combining a comfortable lounge and dining area. Two large sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, offer ample seating for relaxation and can accommodate additional guests, allowing the property to sleep up to 6 people comfortably. A new Smart TV has been installed, providing entertainment options for rainy days or quiet evenings in. Complimentary internet access is also provided, ensuring connectivity throughout your stay.

Situated in front of a large window, the wooden dining table offers seating for 4 and boasts stunning ocean views over the nearby dunes. Whether enjoying a meal, entertaining guests, or simply admiring the sunset, this dining area provides a welcoming and picturesque setting for gatherings and relaxation.

KITCHEN
Appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the pots, pans and utensils you will need for a relaxing self-catering holiday.

BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with storage furniture.
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with storage furniture.
Two additional people can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the lounge.

BATHROOMS
Enter through the front door and immediately on your right hand side is a room with WC, and a separate shower room, with a large shower enclosure, heated towel rail and washing machine under a useful work surface.

OUTDOORS
SEAGRASS offers ample parking space with its very spacious gravel driveway, allowing for the parking of several cars. The enclosed lawned garden located in front of the house provides a safe and secure area for outdoor activities and play. Guests can take advantage of the gas BBQ and picnic bench for enjoyable al fresco dining experiences. Additionally, the enclosed front garden ensures the safety of your dog during their outdoor adventures.

Relaxation is made easy with provided amenities such as sun-loungers, allowing guests to soak up the sunshine or enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the elevated position of the property. For added convenience, a washing line and outside tap are available for rinsing and drying wetsuits after a day of beach activities.

As an added bonus, guests will benefit from free parking for one car at Putsborough Sands car park throughout the duration of their stay, making beach visits hassle-free and convenient.

DRIVE TO – explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.

Seagrass was a nice secluded cottage, but not too far from the amenities of Croyde. It has everything needed for a holiday in the area. Nice views from the back garden. Being one of the few original buildings in the row of development, it has a charm to it. Inside, everything is adequate and the Sky TV is a rare addition for entertainment on rainy days.

Overall rating 5 Public review Stayed here for a week. Lovely area. Nice homely little cottage. Had everything you needed. Clean and comfortable. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer. Perfect location, nice and quiet in easy reach to pubs and shops, but also very close to footpaths. Lovely walks. Will be back to stay here, is now one of my favourites. Thank you Chris for letting us stay in your lovely homely cottage. We had a most enjoyable time. You have a lovely spot there. We most certainly will come back. And thank you for letting us park there when it wasn’t strictly ours at the time. :)

Lovely property with all you need for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Devon. Great walks and pubs within walking distance. We went for Christmas and were welcomed with wine, chocolates and biscuits. We would highly recommend and hope to return again, thank you.

Lovely cottage with lovely view and great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We often stay in this area but this has been our favourite holiday house in recent years. Perfect for our dog and perfect base for our favourite beaches. Also lovely and quiet.

We have just returned and had such a wonderful holiday. The location is perfect, we could choose which beach to visit as the cottage is so central and the little welcome pack was so appreciated and thoughtful after a 6 hour drive. I loved the garden with the sun loungers, I’ve stayed 4 other places in croyde and never had a sun lounger. The garden is a lovely little sun trap and I loved laying in it and listening to the sound of the waves. If we return to croyde next summer I will book the Sea grass.

Excellent communication with owner. Nice little welcome pack left for us on arrival. Beds comfy with lovely bed linen. Garden was perfect for the dog and secure. Cottage had everything we needed. Ideal for a small family. A very pleasant stay. The car park pass for the nearby beach was great. “Lovely little welcome pack - thank you.”

Beautiful views from the living room in fact better than any public venue nearby! Wonderful beaches, we had a great time and so did our dogs. Seagrass is in a good position for the village, but we recommend to look up local places to eat and book before you get there. “We had a lovely time with such great beaches nearby.

Chris - the guy who looks after the cottage - was amazing. We arrived very late on the 1st night and he kindly opened up the cottage and turned a few lights on so it felt very homely on arrival - and - the welcome pack he left was amazing! “Chris was a great support - we were so impressed that he opened up the cottage prior to our late arrival and left the most wonderful welcome pack. So good!”

Perfect cottage base for a holiday in the beautiful North Devon village of Croyde. Easy walking distance to the beach and village. Well kitted out with everything we needed and great secure garden for the dogs to play in. Chris the owner replaced the gas cylinder for the BBQ the game day I reported it had run out which was much appreciated. Cottage was spotlessly clean with lots of crockery and cooking equipment and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Happy to recommend this cottage and we will be back I'm sure “Thank you Chris for a great stay - the cottage was perfect and well kitted out for our holiday. Thank you also for changing the gas cylinder for the BBQ the same day I reported it had run out so we could BBQ that evening, much appreciated. We will definitely be back Chris and Andy”

“We had instant access to the cottage via a key safe so all we had to do is turn up and unload the car. The cottage was very homely and clean and had everything we needed. Choice Cottages left some complimentary items that were really appreciated and gave our stay an extra pep. We had contact details for a manager if we needed anything. The location was ideal and real value for money. “Lovely holiday cottage which is in an ideal quiet location, 5mins walk from Croyde shops and beach.” Reviewed on Trip Advisor July 23rd, 2018 SEAGRASS is situated in a lovely quiet location just a short walk from Croyde shops and beach. Views from the lounge are fantastic over Croyde.. The cottage is very well equipped and all very clean. There is a shower room just inside the front door which is really handy when you come in from the beach. Included in the rental is a pass for parking at Putsborough Beach. This is 5mins drive away and is one of the nicest family beaches you could ever wish to visit. The owners are really nice and friendly and are really quick to respond to any questions Would definitely stay again!

A little piece of heaven When you find a place like this you wonder why you would ever need to go abroad. The bungalow has everything you need for a family, friends or couples holiday. The rooms are bright and airy and very clean. Beds comfortable and plenty of space for travel cot in either room. The garden is very private and totally safe for children or dogs. You can sit outside and see the sea. A lovely ten minute walk to the beach or the village which has a fabulous ice cream parlour. All pubs are dog friendly and fantastic walks around. Puts borough beach car park pass is such an added bonus.Dogs allowed all year round there and less than 5 mins drive away. Can't recommend this place enough

A couple of my friends came through from London, and we booked this property last minute. The place was ideal for us surfers, simple, no frills and fun little lock up and go spot. We had an unforgettable evening outside having a BBQ, and stolled down to the local pub afterwards for an entertaining night out. the view from the front garden where we were BBQing is awesome, hills, sky and sea from this elevated position.
