We had the most wonderful relaxing time in this cosy lodge that adequately catered for 4 adults. Quiet, beautiful surroundings and a very comfortable bed. Lots of green space and an outdoor seating area made this a perfect getaway. We will be coming back.

We've used Choice Cottages many times over the years. The properties are fantastic and they have great communication. This time, they were very accommodating to our date change due to a Covid infection in our family which meant we couldn't stick to the planned dates. “Thanks so much for moving our dates. It's an amazing place and we had a wonderful time.”

Really great location in Croyde - off road parking, walking distance from village centre and beach, 5 mins drive from Saunton Sands too. Most importantly: what’s not to love about staying in a cozy log cabin and watching the sun setting over the sea every day? Definitely staying again. Thank you so much!

The location was excellent cabin was clean and well equipped lovely views very peaceful owners were really lovely and friendly gave us advice on where to go would differently go back there and recommend it to other people.

Amazing stay in this fantastic log cabin. Fantastic location for Croyde Bay with sea views. The property was very clean & everything felt like new. The owner Lesley was staying nearby & it was great to chat & tap into her local knowledge. We will definitely go back.

“This chalet is the perfect getaway. It is immaculate inside and out and in the most peaceful surroundings. We were slightly worried that we didn’t have a car but there were some lovely pubs in walking distance and Tesco delivered to the cabin. Also, it was very easy to prebook a cab from Barnstaple station. The local pubs serve delicious food, particularly the Manor Innwhich is about a 10 minute wal away. I could not recommend this accommodation more for a chilled out holiday by the sea.”
“This was the perfect getaway for us after a really rough couple of months. It was exactly what we needed and we feel truly refreshed. The bed was so comfy and the duvet so snug, it was the best sleep we’ve had in a long time!”

“Great location, lovely views and a big area outdoors for playing and relaxing. Kitchen is compact but perfectly useable. Smoke alarm far too sensitive though!”

Great getaway
we stayed here for a week in May with our dog. We were very lucky with the weather and had a great time. Lovely clean ranch with full central heating and Wi-Fi which was fast considering the location. Walking distance from the pubs (five mins) and from the three different beaches. Croyde 5 min walk Putsborough 45 min walk Saunton 1 hour walk We will return.

An amazing property. Set up a quiet small lane with views over Croyde. Plenty of car parking and large garden which our dog enjoyed exploring.
The property is immaculate with all the things you could need for a stay, an absolute credit to the friendly owners.
Booked through Choice Cottages who were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, would recommend the property and Choice Cottages to anyone!

We have just returned from an amazing week at The Ranch, it was perfect for our family holiday with our two little girls and labrador. Great location, cosy cabin and amazing garden. We will definitely be back!

This cottage was in a perfect location for the beach and village. It was in the most peaceful location in Croyde. The views were beautiful and we loved the garden. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely return.

Splendid facilities all as described. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into providing all the equipment needed to making the ranch home from home.We were particularly fortunate with the weather did not even see a cloud until the last day of our holiday and managed to eat breakfast and evening meals including a bbq outside. Most years our daughter goes surfing whilst we go walking but this year it was beach weather and so it was a lazy relaxing holiday.We have been too and stayed in croyde 20+ times and this is easily the best accommodation and facilities we have experienced.We have two small friendly Jack Russells who had ample room to explore and play in the groundsOverall Highly recommended.

An attractive well-built log cabin, comfortable and spotless. Beautiful location and contrary to forecasts the weather has been kind to us! Best steak ever at The Thatch! We've enjoyed it very much - thank you.
