The adjacent conservatory overlooking the garden, offers separate comfy seating by means of soft day chairs and sun loungers. The dining, conservatory and kitchen areas form separate, yet inter-connecting rooms, making the spaces feel large and open. From the kitchen enter into a separate downstairs lounge with couch, TV, board games, DVD’s and a large selection of books to read. This lounge leads on to ground floor bedroom 6. This separate unit is ideal for three-generation families or when the children want to enjoy movies and games away from the adult lounge.

We spent our Christmas break at High Tide and loved it. Our family of 11 and 3 dogs felt right at home, plenty of space for all of us. Brilliant location, 6 minutes from the beach and not far from Croyde, would recommend the Thatch Inn. Great communication from the host and would recommend the hot tub! Good fun, as well as some Xmas decorations which was a lovely touch. Thank you for making our special Xmas so wonderful.

Had a great time in Croyde at a lovely accomodation, in a great location. The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was very handy for cleaning up after a day of surfing! Lovely garden with a barbecue which we made use of.

Great location just a few minutes from the beach. Lovely views. Great garden for kids, lots of flat lawn for ball games (although spare a thought for the neighbours who had to retrieve a few lost balls for us). Hot tub is a real bonus. The bedrooms are on the small side, but we spent most of our time in other bits of the house. The kitchen is well equipped. Immaculately clean. Very straightforward check in and out process. We would highly recommend this property.

Great location very close to the beach Left on Sep 9, 2017 for a stay in Aug 2017 The location of High Tide close to the beach is a great attraction. The house provides good, spacious, well equipped family accommodation with good parking and a large garden. You should check that the bedroom accommodation suits your requirements as three of the bedrooms are bunk rooms with two bunks in each room with one of the rooms being off the master bedroom. We have had four family holidays in Croyde, three in High tide and our family always enjoy it. The conservatory/kitchen overlooking the garden provides very homely space well used by us. However the property has reached the stage where some investment is required. For example the double glazing to the front of the house has been misted up since we first visited in 2013 which is unpleasant and the settee in the small lounge has seen better days. These are small points as our family love it here but it is disappointing and prevent me from rating it excellent. One added feature this year is the 'hot tub'. No surprise that this comes at an extra charge but enjoyed by all and great after a day surfing/body boarding. Make sure that the bedroom accommodation suits your requirements and if it does go for it. I am sure you won't be disappointed. Superb house for larger family or groups. Excellent beach location. We spent a fantastic week at Croyde High Tide during February half term. We were a group of ten - 4 adults and 6 children ranging from 13 to 3 years old. Plenty of space for us all to hang out and relax. The children loved their own little den with playstation and adults equally enjoyed the lounge with log fire. The spacious kitchen area and dining table was perfect for preparing and enjoying meals together. There was everything we needed and more. The house is just a few minutes from the beach and a peasant stroll into Croyde for some lovely pubs/restaurants. The owner and cleaner were super helpful. This is a great house for families to enjoy.

I liked the space, comfy beds & furniture, effective cooker, warmth, garage, big garden, outside tap and loads more. This has been the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in and we have been coming to Croyde/North Devon for 30 odd years. Really glad you accept dogs.
