Booked this property for a special family get together nearly a year in advance and it came up trumps! Plenty of bedrooms for all to be comfortable, three bathrooms to accommodate us all, comfortable relaxing lounge with seating for us all, a large table to seat all to eat, a large garden to accommodate our various games activities and the hot tub! Plus the close vicinity to the beach and local pubs for a quick drink or meal. Even to dog loved his new enclosed garden where he too could join in! We loved the house and would thoroughly recommend it to any large family parties. Just one point to note- you do step straight out down onto a busy road on leaving the property - a word of warning if children are in the party. Two parking spaces are located directly opposite in tandem which is good but we used the Thatch car park with no problems for the other vehicles. Confident that anybody who books this will have the most super holiday as we did!

Just returned from an Easter break here with My adult children and two grandchildren. Everyone loved the place and the grandchildren were ecstatic by play facilities in the garden for kids. The hot tub was also a popular place for all. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. The property manager could not have been more helpful or nicer. Am definitely booking for next year.

From the moment we arrived, our stay at Beach Haven was very comfortable and enjoyable. Everything was well thought out for a house accommodating a large group of people. It was a great idea to install a key pad, negating the need for keys which can get lost on trips to the beach. The house was clean, homely and comfortable with ample facilities for our family which consisted of teenagers, twenty-somethings, parents and grandparents. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of Croyde but with a beautiful view from the garden which overlooks Croyde Bay and the surrounding hills giving a feeling of seclusion. We have been holidaying in Croyde for many years. We would highly recommend this versatile property and will be visiting again! Thank you Beach Haven!

"Perfect Stay" The pictures on the website do not do this property justice. The house is amazing and the far reaching views are gorgeous. We went as two families of 4 (both with children under the age of 6) for a February half term break. When we arrived it took us a few minutes to figure out where the two parking spaces were (opposite the property). We then walked through the gate into the very cute front garden. We walked through the front door to a wonderful entrance hall. It was an instant hit! There are three very generous rooms and 3 good sized rooms where there are a mixture of single and double bunks. Perfect for kids! The kitchen is great and well equipped. Although there aren’t any childs plates, cups or cutlery provisions so I would bring your own. The hot tub is well worth the extra £100. It was great late afternoon to jump in there and watch the sheep in the fields. The garden is great for kids. The playhouse at the end of the garden housed lots of outdoor toys to keep them amused. Similarly there were some toys in the chests in the lounge and conservatory. We had a few maintenance issues which were resolved so quickly. We were extremely impressed and grateful. The beach is a short walk away. Turn left just after Billy Budds and it will take you 10-15 mins dependant on how slow you (kids) walk. There are 3 wonderful pubs in walking distance which we sampled and were great! Overall we were all very impressed and would definitely book again both this cottage and through Choice cottages!

Reviewed on Trip Advisor September 13th, 2015 We have recently returned from a much needed break at croyde beech haven. The cottage was clean , amazingly comfortable, and very well equipped. There was no exaggeration in the advertising of this property, everything was exactly as we had expected, and much more. So glad we found you ! Thankyou so much for the cream scones too !

“Sensational week with friends in Croyde!” Reviewed on Trip Advisor May 28th, 2015 As a returning customer to North Devon with Choice cottages, I must bestow upon them the highest praise for their unrivalled professionalism, overall efficiency, ease of booking, and quality of their properties, which all made for another wonderful week in Croyde. In mid May, myself and a group of fourteen 20-somethings stayed in the Croyde Beach Haven on Hobbs Hill. On first arrival the property was immaculately presented with all rooms and bedding provided perfectly for each guest. Furthermore, the garden, barbecue and hot tub were well kept and in perfect condition to provide us with a hassle free start to the week. The location of the house was ideal for a large group, being close to several shops in the Croyde village, next door to the Thatch pub, a short 5-10 minute walk to Croyde bay, and just down the road from the various activities at the Croyde Holiday camp. All the living functions of the house worked perfectly with ample hot water (even for the outdoor shower) and efficient heating to keep the rooms and living areas warm throughout the week. Another point to mention was the availability of beach toys, wind breaks and surf boards ready to use at the house which made beach trips a lot smoother for a big group. Finally, having stayed in a couple of other Croyde cottages, I found the Beach Haven the perfect size for a group of 14 and the use of the garden was imperative during warm days as the surrounding hedges acted as a windbreak… a real sun trap! Thank you once again for another cracking week and for anyone considering Choice Cottages I can firmly recommend them as a company run by attentive, polite and efficient individuals who guarantee a care free holiday in North Devon.

We had a fabulous time for my husbands 60th Birthday. The whole family we able to be together with lots of room for everyone. The cottage was amazing and in a beautiful location. The standard of the cottage was excellent. There was plenty to do for the children and they had a fantastic time. Close to pubs and local shop. The beach is about 20-30mins walk (with little ones) and it was well worth the walk - stunning. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Choice Cottages for a perfect long weekend.

Date of Stay: June 2010 We had a wonderful stay at Beach Haven. The house is very well equipped, clean and had everything you could possibly need. There was room for everyone to be together as a family, with the benefit of quiet areas for grandpa to go and read his papers away from children. The house is very handy for Croyde Village and the Beach, and we felt very lucky to have the parking for such a central location - other houses in this location don't have any. The Kids loved the Hot tub, and the garden was very private, secure and safe. The dogs and children could be left playing without worry of escape. The swings and slide at the bottom of the garden were a great addition too. A fantastic house in a brilliant location. We all loved it so much we're planning next years trip and will return to Beach Haven.
