We had a lovely weeks holiday at The Laurels. The house was clean, tidy and well presented with added extras in the games room and a half pipe in the garden! The bedrooms were lovely with plenty of space for all. . Close to the Main Street in Braunton it is walkable within minutes. Being on a narrow street parking was a bit tight. All in all we had a great time, thank you very much!

This is a beautiful home with lots of interesting nooks and crannies. It was extremely clean and tidy and exceptionally well equipped. We were a party of 14 - (an elderly couple, 5 adults and their children including 2 adult children and a baby and 3 dogs). There were more than enough mugs/glasses/ plates etc. there were also lots of books and games available for us which was fantastic. The garden is absolutely lovely - with outdoor seating, a fire pit, trampoline, pond. The house is also in a brilliant location - a very short walk into town and a short car journey to many fantastic beaches. We loved it!

Great stay with friends over New Year. The laurels had everything we needed and had lovely extra touches including a Christmas tree! Brilliant location for coastal walks and just a few minutes walk to the shops in town. Felt very homely, even better than the pics suggest, we had a lovely time - thank you!

The Laurels is a characterful house full of quirky touches and spacious enough to host 12 people with ease. The kitchen is well equipped and the garden with trampoline and skate ramp a real bonus. Braunton is a great centre for exploring North Devon and The Laurels the perfect place to stay whilst doing it.

***** We had a lovely week here, the house is perfect to take children as the owners leave toys and a lovely selection of books and games. Kitchen is lovely family room, fuzeball table for a rainy afternoon. Location brilliant, we had lovely long days on the beach at Staunton sands and woolacombe, short drive away. Recommend the the William inn, walking distance, good beer, good food, good service. Squires fish and chip takeaway is a lovely takeaway. Chinese and kebab from surf and turf good too. Overall a lovely week and we hope to return next year.

It is rare to stay in a cottage and find it is bigger than you expected - usually photos are misleading. The Laurels was much more spacious than you could tell from the photos and had ample space for our family of 12 (3 generations in including grandparents and children aged from 4 to 16)

We all had a great holiday, this beautiful old house had loads of space for our party of 11 which spanned three generations. The musically inclined loved the piano and the grandchildren made great use of all the toys. The bed linen and towels were of a very good quality. We were all sad to leave at the end of our week and would like to come back in the future.
